Why does everyone seems to min raise pre in 5nl game? like you open 2bb and they raise to 3 bb ? probably the answer is 5 nl ? or did i missed some new strat ?

Cant say what other's are thinking but i have see this too. Most people think a 3bet is strong and I guess they are hoping people will be ,ore wary they are trapping with aces. I will say it does throw people off at times.

maybe they have a decent hand and want more people out?? who really knows what your opponents are thinking anyways?

What do you mean by "everyone"? From my experience it happens from time to time, but not so often. Technically re-raising from 2 to 3 bb is the mistake, since it neither really makes the pot bigger nor forces any folds.

Yeah, in 5NL a lot of players min-raise pre mainly because it’s low stakes and people aren’t thinking too much. It’s often just standard weak reg or fishy behavior — not some new strategy. Min-raising keeps the pot small and gives them the chance to see more flops cheaply, which is common at these stakes.
