I've been playing mostly low limit poker online and doing very well at it. The problem i'm having is now in my NL game. I have a weekly home tourney and i almost always placed in the money everytime. now it seems that i can't even get close. Has anyone had this happen to them?
i have a solid limit style of play, i don't know if i just get lost or am just running cold.
What are your major shifts from your limit to no limit in playing styles?

AH HA! Considering I scream that you should learn limit long before NL. Actually need to organize the strategy into an article but anyway... There is a saying about Hold'em; Limit is a science NL is an art. So now that we assume you are a winning limit player that means you understand all the basics especially that playing hands where you are a favorite, taking the odds, is the best way to play. ok gonna be too long...... ;) In NL learn how to bet to kill your opponents drawing odds and tighten up your preflop starting hand requirements. If the home game is a tourney play tight early and as the blinds increase loosen up!

I agree with xdman. Good answer.
NL means a much more complex betting language to decode. Small PP go way up in value, and slowplaying is much more common and profitable. Spot players that draw their hands too expensively and let you draw cheaply.
