Just wanted to share with you all a quick story from my night at the tables...

I was playing a tournament at Titan with my freeroll winnings. No spectacular play on my part, but was within fifteen or twenty places to the money. Had about 2000 chips and was dealt AA UTG. Not having a huge number of chips, and hateing aces as much as i do, i just pushed all in, not wanting to have to make a decision on the flop, and hoping to get as many people out as possible. ended up getting one caller, and guess what he had aces too. Not too extraordinary, i know, i've seen it before too, but we all had a good laugh about it and i made what in heinsight seems like a very stupid comment. I said, or rather wrote, something to the effect of, "well, it's better then having them cracked, lol" *sigh* anyway, a few hands later, i get AA again in the BB, the same two aces in fance, and this time, the same guy that i shared the pot with earlier goes all in preflop, everyone folds to me, and before i call, knowing full well that it was bound to piss off the gods of probability i write, "you got them again?" he turns over Q-10 off, flops a ten, turn a blank, river another 10, and i knew it was coming. i don't know if there's a lesson in all this, other then for me to shut my mouth at the tables, or rather, put down my keyboard. really it's not even much of a bad beat story. just a glimpse into the life of frustrated poker player. i'm tearing it up at the hi/lo tables as we speak, but my luck at hold 'em borders on obsurd sometime, except in freerolls... anyway :hello:
