A bit of a poser here for a few of our members. I wont tell you how I played it but this was a turbo MTT and I had 10 seconds to act. So basically, think of your answer in less than 10 seconds and tell me what you would have done....and then I will tell you what I did

I am holding Ks 9d.

I am BB and check with 2 limpers. Flop comes Kc 9c 3c

Player 1 bets 1200

player 2 goes all in for 4,000

I have 6000 chip stack.

What do you do???

Fold - If I was acting after player 1 I would raise, but player 2 has already shown strength, and it's pretty obvious what hand he could have. If either have got 2 clubs, you'll need to catch one of 4 cards - if they've got 1, they've got chance to outdraw you. I'm always getting done with 2 pair, it's not as strong as it seems.

Ya, id fold too. To big of a chance that he could be on the draw or have the flush already.

It's a tough fold, but you have to do it. Chances that a nine or king coming up in the turn or river is slim and the player that went all in either has the flush or need another club. It's not worth the call.

This wasnt the hardest decision to make but some players would definitely have called. I folded and player 1 called the all-in bet of player 2.

Player 1 turned over 6s 6c and player 2 turned over Kd 7h, which made me a slight favourite had I called. Turn was blank and river was a club. No idea why player 2 went all-in ($20 buy in, 6k guaranteed). I made the right move but would have called had I seen the hold cards.

To play devil's advocate:

It might depend on where in the tournament I was, but I might not fold. If I had reason to believe either of the two players knew what they were doing, I'd figure to have player 1 beat, and player 2 to be on a draw. I don't know what the levels were, but if they were something like 150/300, and Player 1 had a decent chip stack, then he'd have to have a worse hand than K9. If had a set, I'd think he'd either slowplay (or be cautious to see if there's a flush around) or push to drive out a flush draw. Similarly, if Player 2 had hit the flush, it would be unwise to push at that point, as he has a lot of more cash coming to him if he can keep you both in the pot. Then again, with a short stack like his, that push might be so small that he felt confident he'd be called anyway.

The only option I wouldn't consider is calling, though. Either fold or raise. If you're going to keep your hand alive, you want Player 1 out of there. Either way, the only hand barring the made flush that either of them would realistically have that would be a favorite over you is the 33. KK or 99 would surely have gotten a raise pre-flop.

I cheated though; I thought for more than 10 seconds, and under the clock I might have folded as well. Good thing you did, as it turned out.

Depends on the blind amounts, and to a lesser extent the chip counts of other players. Very generally speaking...

Small blinds (say 150/300 or less) - fold.
Large blinds (say 300/600 or more) - call.

I'm guessing the blinds are big if it's a turbo, in which case I probably chance it. You could be up against a set, a weaker two pair, or a draw to the Ac/Qc/Jc (or even 2 idiots with K7 and 66 ^^), as well as a made flush, and you have a redraw if you are against a flush, but also it's not worth risking a comfortable stack with.

Fundamental theroy of poker by god better known as David Sklansky says you played incorrectly but no way you can be faulted for folding. I would have folded as well.
