Really, 2 pair on the flop is not strong enough to slow-play, especially when the kicker is low and can easily get counterfeited.

On the turn I'd reluctantly call and see what happens on the river.

Btw why are you checking this Turn? The whole idea of calling on the flop was to get the original raiser to raise, upon which you push. He didn't do this so you have to bet now.

Also, don't necessarily give your opponents credit for big hands. The weak lead is a tell for a weakish hand, like a mid pair, or top pair bad kicker. The raiser was quite likely making a position raise with a less than premium hand after seeing you post. Now he tries to take it away. So actually maybe pushing isn't so bad. But I'd just call here now you've got yourself into this mess.
