I found this in a poker magazine and thought it might be helpful, especially if you can put the other person on a hand pre-flop:

% chance of your pair beating .....
Any lower pair, approx 80%
Any higher pair, approx 20%

Your hand
Pair of sixes/Pair of twos
Against:
AK suited 52%/50%
JT suited 48%/45%
Q5 unsuited 69%/53%
98 suited 50%/45%
54 unsuited 83%/50%
73 unsuited 71%/52%
It's not the greatest-looking of tables, maybe someone can tidy it up a bit, does it make sense to everyone?
For instance, if you hold a pair of sixes, and your opponent has 98 suited, then it's a 50% chance you'll win the hand. Which goes down to 45% if you hold a pair of twos.
Or, if you hold JT suited, and your opponent has a pair of twos, his chance of winning is 45%, so yours is 55%

Its a little complicated but usually any 2 overcards against an underpair is around 55/45, regardless of the underpair and the overcards

An overpair against an underpair is around 80/20

If you want an accurate reading you can use the hand calculator but the figures you mentioned look about right.

Trying to remember the exact % for every possible hand can soometimes be a pain in the neck, so trying to givr yourself a rough estimate, even to the nearest 2% or 3% is a good idea

Yes it makes perfect sense, Any pair or Any Ace is very good headsup, when you get to H2H you have to play about anything your dealt, you CANNOT wait for premium hands,, if you do you will lose,, dont forget when your headsup theres only 4 cards dealt out before the flop.>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> buck:hello:
