so yes, I call (obviously), and the b*stard had my hand pegged, he even said "pocket Q" before I flipped them.  I'm now in awe of his hand-reading ability, because he nailed me to that call and hung me to dry.
 
He flips the JJ, and starts begging for the case Q - which he gets on the river!
 
So I win the pot (which is the biggest I've ever seen on a 2/4 table at this casino), but MORE importantly, I got to be part of my first Quad-over-Quad jackpot.  Of course, he walked away with the lion-share of the jackpot ($1200  for the bad beat- compared to losing less than $300 on the hand), but I still got my "bonus" $400 fropm the jackpot too. 
 
And now, thanks to the addition of almost a grand to my bankroll that night, I've decided to play in a one or two of the starter events at the WSOP when it comes to the Commerce Casino in Los Angeles in about a month.  Not the main event - my entire bankroll isn't that large - but the $300 and $500 early events, maybe.  Wish me luck, and I'll let y'all know.
