Was I over aggressive making the pot bet with the flush draw on the board after the turn?

Should I have called the $1.40 or was it obvious that thecalmbomb had the flush?

one thing that often happens in omaha, is that the nuts on the flop (such as your straight) can get drawn out very easily.
I think the strategic thing to do here is to call the flop bets, see what the turn brings and act accordingly.
If a third heart comes and someone puts out a bet, toss the hand.
If the turn comes a brick, then make a big bet, but be cautious of a raise. Someone could be freerolling with say, the made straight like you, but also have redraws to the flush or to a full house.

A play that makes alot of profit in omaha is when you know your opponent has the same hand as you, and you put him in knowing that he's got to call, and that you've got redraws.

I think you played the hand way to aggresive. On the flop, I think you have to call, because of the relative small raise you are faced with, but re-raising is not an option here because you don't have any redraws. Like chuck said you need to wait till the turn to get aggresive, and only do so if a blank comes. The turn bluff wasn't very good either, because I would expect either thecalmbomb or pongo_2054 has the flush. And because you raise on the flop, it's pretty easy to put you on a made straight, so it's difficult to represent the flush, when you've allready announced that you have the straight.
