While all you good folk were having a blast on Stars last night, I was invited to a "new" card game. First game was a $30 N/L Holdem game which i beat :) Second game was a $20 N/L w rebuys which i also beat. Now these guys were getting a bit pissed with this, and I was asked will I play some "real" poker, and the guys suggested a game of €10 (min bet) 7 card stud, GULP, but i was a couple of hundred up so i agreed. Here goes 1st hand. Did I overvalue it ? in the hole Q♦ J♦ with K♦ showing, so I led out with a bet to one caller showing A♣ my next card was 2♦ his 3♣ so I let again. 10♦ for me making my King high diamond flush and opened straight flush draw he got the 3♥ I bet out again, he called, the rest of the cards were junk, but on the last card he raised me, didnt hit the s/flush, but i had the king high flush, he wasnt paired. So I re-raised he flat called me with A♣ K♣ 5♣ for the Ace high club flush. Sickened I backed off for a little, picked up a house later on and got it all back (off the same guy). And made a little more later on a king high heart flush. So up about €300. But the problem I had was the first hand, I still feel that maybe i overvalued my hand, was my re-raise at the end stupid ?
