this situation happens mainly at 888poker, where players do not care what card they have and how many people went to the all-in bank before it, they are sure that they will be lucky today and that's it)

Most people go to freerolls to play without risking their own money in the hope of free money. For this reason, many people just sit down to have fun, not to develop themselves there. This must be accepted. There will always be people like that. I don't see much point in it, especially when at the beginning he can still win a while with the continuous all-ins, and then he drops out after half an hour.

Especially in the first hands of a hyperfreeroll with small stack sizes and little time, many act according to the motto: Open up or fly out. It doesn't cost anything.

The blinds move too quickly. If there are add on periods usually I go all in until this point and then start to play properly for a while before the blinds catch up again. Usually this is long enough to get to the money or free tickets part of the tournament.

Many also go allin cause there's no point in playing serious poker, cause no bets are taken serious. They will call no matter what you do.
It gets better when the addon phase is over and people can't rebuy anymore. - Well that is for freebuys
CC freerolls (on platinum Level) are a bit different I think . Still freerolls but one can see it's a different level of seriousness than in ordinary freerolls

Complaining about, how other people play, is pointless. If you want to experience more serious play, then register for something like a $11 MTT.

Players either don't understand what they are doing or just want to have fun. If you have a full table of such opponents, you understand what it means: normal poker has come to an end.Playing in a freeroll sometimes feels like you are entering a closed world of poker that is completely different from cash games or regular tournaments.

More often than not I have something I should be doing rather than playing poker but since there is no downside to entering a freeroll I find it hard to resist. So all in I go! We have way too many cats here on the farm so please come thin some of them out. (Save me from having to do it!)

it all depends on the freeroll. There are $5k freerolls in which they try to play carefully

I think it's just that players register then see a supposedly strong hand for them and immediately click on 12 bb all-in and it all happens all the time when I see these free games and their participants, of course, not all players do this, but a lot of it's easy to win there just play and be patient

because some players dont take freerolls or even tournaments seriously. i disagree that its only because they dont risk any money, because that happens even in higher buy in tournaments even though it happens less often. also some players dont play well or are recreational players so they dont mind risking their entire stack with mediocre hands.

It is such a headache for me, this ruins everyone game. I believe poker is strategic game and skill plays alot more than luck but in these freerolls everyone goes all in and I have to loose with AKsuited with 36 off suit🤦‍♂️
Whoever reading this post I suggest you to not to go all in or I will come at your house and kill your cat🔫😑
Everything in time, patience is a virtue, if I have good cards I risk an all-in, otherwise I wait until the all-ins stop, good luck and success

Hello.
It's the FREEroll and i think that's the whole answer. The player can lose only his (her) time in this case.

Hi :)
In our CardsChat freerolls, there are very few players who go all-in every time. In general, our community members are quite patient and experienced. In any other freerolls, this is a common style of play and you can't do anything here :)

Because there is nothing at stake and people love to gamble. Play tight and aggressive game.

These games teach you patience and it's a big lesson for aspiring poker players.

I think it depends of the freeroll. The freerolls on 888poker is almost impossible to not go all in pre flop at some moment because the blinds increase so fast. They used to have freerolls with 1 minute blind levels, now I think the fastest are 3 minutes.

I am cat allergic but I sometimes shove at the beginning of a freeroll, especially if I am dealt a pocket pair.
It can be a nice opportunity to double my stack because there is almost always a player who will call the shove thinking he has got nothing to lose because it's free.

everyone has a different game plan, so whoever wants to, he plays the way he wants, so why be surprised

Time is a valuable resource, depending on prize value sometimes it's better to go all-in... or even not play at all... some of the pokersites have auto-allin freerolls...

everyone plays poker according to their choice and mood, if you lose with AK vs 23, it's poker and there's nothing to blame
