If your bankroll allows you to play at higher limits, I wouldn't waste time on micro-limits.

First of all, having a positive experience of playing at small stakes is necessary in order to get involved in poker. Don't think of it as exactly the same as live poker. If you come across stronger and more experienced players who start to beat quickly, this experience will be very cheap.

On most sites "micros" is defined as anything below 5$. And if you cant find enjoyment in playing for instance a 3.3$ MTT, then its an open question, if you actually love poker that much, or if you should rather find something else to do with your time. With that being said I have checked your sharkscope profiles, and on pokerstars you mainly seem to be playing $0.25 SnGs, while on 888 Poker your main game is now freerolls. And that is for sure a waste of time, if you are able to give yourself a reasonable starting bankroll of 100$ and at least skip the penny games ;)

this blog deeply made me chuckle and laugh with all the advance talk and simple talk. its necessary too! the easiest way to write anything to anyone is put in the most simple lame mans understanding. ive put in many hrs and have a profitable history and i think its not good enough. i think ideally playing poker as a living to say even make low income poverty level money of 1800$ a month is the hardest thing a person can aspire for, or at least from what i have gathered from everything i have. i wanna see someone actually have a chart of say 1,000,000,000Hands showing every single hand , every play, every outcome % gained, every Penny made... so a person can at least see that. even a decade of full time work doesnt equate to that kind of data. computers were ran on the outcomes of blackjack and baccarat for educational purchases. look at what Edward Thorpe did for gaming industry. HE MADE A FORTUNE SELLING CONTENT that he never had to put into play to make $ live. for history purposes literally ppl payed him tens of thousands for them to be taught how to make money from private lessons. Everyone Gambles but such a small % actualy make a living then of course X amount of living. when it comes down to it just makes logical sense it depends on how much $ is available which also is infinite because anyone can go flip a burger at McDonalds to take care of themselves and still be a person contributing in some sort of way to society. years back i let my ego prevent my potential possibility because of a small % outcome. the short term pissed me off EGO wise years back i literally was Fx** This. I hate poker players... i totally have mixed feelings even to consider becoming a long term profitable player because of my attitude about gambling. i preach anyone just go play baccarat or blackjack for 10m - X amount of time because of the low negative EV of the game and truly a pretty fair chance if you have any actual understanding to those games. i mean i 1000% agree with the psychology of the game. i fantasize of everyone getting drunk talking hate to each other strippers in the background smoking cigs ppl Fx***8*** everywhere drugs galore but thats just not reality unless your A BALLER... even then its not like you get that type of action even 1x a week with anything less then a 50k buy in which such a small % of society can afford to lose. Watching this year Steve Aoki blow 20k in less then 2hrs playing skilled players when i cant say hes bad a bad player BUT HEY THE MAN GETS PAID 150-300k an event and works multiple days a week. he can afford to do that... love his attitude too. he was just as pissed as anyone would after losing lol. it was beautiful seeing the greatest poker player of all time Doyle Brunson walk away from the game just because he was tired. i mean that dude could make an infinite fortune for his lineage selling his gathered data because of all the hrs and years hes played like a Mozart/Beethovan. his book the super system is the best poker book ive ever read and even then i think damn. how can this info be made better for myself. you can put information out there and make money. you can charge money. OR EVEN BE FREE there will be a crowd interest. at some pt you just have to seek some sort of educational reform. if you play as a job you have to balance out the rest of your life because of Zen

this is just how exceptional my history is. the first hand i ever dealt as a dealer was a 21BJ house wins. 2nd hand suited 777 bonus bet 1000/1 player didnt bet it lol. 3 play house wins i forgot to take the players last bet. he rallys 5-10-20-40-80-160-220 literally... then gives it all back in the next 10 hands... he didnt see how significant that was. another player left on that dealt 1st BJ rofl. thats the psychology of the game. not leaving when you actually can lol. the next funny stat Baccarat. i snuck in and dealt Baccarat to assist workplace in shortstaff. wasnt technically allowed... i just know and had deeply played the game so sure i can player deal this. well the shoe literally had 5Dragons and 7Pandas.... players were going nuts and not even winning that big because they cap the bonus bets at 50-100 on those. why IDC its stupid but hey whatever reason is their choice. well lets just say when the game trainer found me on the floor dealing i wasnt allowed to continue dealing ROFL... and he knew my nature before i even got hired. I was a Big Player that crossed over to dealing because i wanted to see if i was cheated. Honestly from my own personal research Yes buts its not exactly something i can prove because of the nature of the Beasts. what i can say is Card Shufflers are flawed... i exposed my info to Jason Morgenstern to a podcast years back... So ya i do believe there is a success to anything even though im Salty about my own personal behavior. ive just sought out to be superior then all the content that exists because im naturally an individualist/Philanthropist type of being. /// if i had millions i would be like Keanu Reeves or Leanardo Dicaprio involved in some short of charity just to stay busy because he well i can i have more then enough $. its sad too because money is printed. only future is digital currency which Pros/Cons i wont discuss that but hey we are saving metals and paper, cutting down less trees that literally give us healthy oxygen for our own mutual benefit lol. The future can easily become a better one if there was more valid activists at any level doing things. We as a whole Planet cannot let Church and Godly Philosophy do all the work. its an equal partnership./// ANYHOOT there is some Math to poker that makes simple sense. After all humans theorize to be able to make computer programs that do the work for you. if someone displayed the info it would just be beautiful to see. If its not possible due to human variance it just isnt but at least seeing someone post it would give any person more education

Okay but... are the microstakes worth playing in 2021?

As far as someone having a chart of say 1,000,000,000 hands played. Well I do know some players who put in a ton of volume but I'm pretty sure none of them are much past 1/100th of what you're asking there. I mean come on... 1 billion hands? Seriously? lol
I think it'd take a person 84years, playing poker 16hrs/day, 7days/week, while 8-tabling Z00M cash tables (~2,000hands/hr.)
If they started playing at 16yrs. of age and lived to 100, I suppose it could be possible.
"Honey! I just hit my BILLIONTH hand tonight... now how bout a blowjob?"

Are micro stakes worth playing?.. First of all, I think, the most of players were started with micro stakes...
And secondly, play on micro stakes is a good school of Poker on initial path, because training at once the many Skills,
and Mains from them, by my opinion, these are Patience and running own Bankroll!

I think that with a little knowledge of micro stakes you can get value for your money. Since it is where most of the players are recreational. To answer your question, for me it is totally worth playing micro. But it depends a lot on the state of your bankroll.

the level of play on many sites ranges from $5 to $1, although that's all and the micro-limits are very different, if you really like $1 tournaments, and especially at 888poker, then this is no longer a love for poker, but some new kind of perversion, What makes you think that I can afford a bankroll of 100 dollars?
