Boston has decided to use rookie Connelly Early, who has only played 4 games in the League, as their starting pitcher for the most important game of their season. Cam Schlittler (his ERA is “2.96”) will be playing for New York. He is the second-best starting pitcher in the New York roster in terms of regular season performance. I see a clear advantage for the Yankees when comparing the current level of reliability of Connely Early and Cam Schlittler.
