I'd like to hear why as well. This was certainly true during HEM's early days, but I don't believe it's the case for the last year or so. Unless PT3 has added a lot more since I last used it (I left PT3 for HEM when HEM was released). Trial software usually installs hidden files and/or registry keys that identify itself as being installed previously. Going further, some may also require a trial key activation. HEMs activation procedure has changed a few times since I've owned it so I'm not sure if their current trial requires remote activation or not, but I expect it does since I've seen reference to their sales department being able to reset/extend your trial presumably by issuing a new trial key. They can identify your PC by a unique hardware hash -- similar to how Windows Activation works -- that will detect if you attempt to reinstall a trial version. You don't enter CC info for the trial. As for the HUD, it runs (on compatible poker sites) no matter how many different sites you have open. You just need to configure the HUD for the sites you use, and it will auto-detect the tables from there.
