I notice someone posted pokerstars tournament tickets now expire 1 year after issued no matter what? So if you have a ticket issued January 2, 2025 and it shows an expiration date of January 2, 2026 or January 2, 2027 or say January 2, 2030, it expires on January 2, 2026 no matter what? I notice several tickets have an expiration date of more than a year and one is even longer than that.

Is this true? If that is the case, why are the expiration dates not automatically changed when you check your tournament ticket history? How would anyone have a clue about this?

Now if you won a silver pass or bronze pass and haven't claimed it yet, what happens? The silver pass shows an expiration date of 1.5 years from date of issued. Does this mean the silver pass has to be claimed within a year as oppose to 1.5 years? But when you claim the silver pass, you would then get a bunch of tickets that would show 1 year expiration date? So once you claim the silver pass and get your $2500 set of tickets, those tickets expire one year from when you claim the silver pass? Or you have to claim the silver pass and use the $2500 worth of tickets all within a year? Say you claim the silver pass tickets 10 months later. Do you have to use the $2500 tickets within a year or is it 2 months? What about the bronze pass? If you wait 10 months to claim it... does that mean your $109 set of tickets have to be used within the next year or is it 2 months?

Hi, tickets will be unavailable exactly on the specified date, for more than 5 years, I don't know how it is now, my $56+ tickets did not have an expiration date, but I don't know if they could exist forever:unsure::)

It's true! All tickets are now only valid for one year. This must be a recent update, because the change date was applied on July 16th.

You can check the terms HERE on the official website.

Okay so what happens if you won a silver pass or bronze pass then and haven't claimed those yet? So you have to claim each of them within a year.

But when you claim each of them, you are going to have $2500 worth of tickets and tournament dollars or $109 worth of tickets and tournament dollars. Say you went to claim each of them 10 months later. When you claim each of them, do you have to use the $2500 worth of tickets and tournament dollars or $109 worth of tickets and tournament dollars within a year once you claim it? Or you have to use them within 2 months?

Probably better to ask that question directly to PokerStars. But with that being said why not just claim the silver pass and use the tickets within a reasonable amount of time like a month or two? If I won a bronze pass giving me $2.500 worth of tickets, I would claim and use the tickets as soon as possible, so that hopefully some of the $2.500 could be exchanged into actual dollars, that I could use for other games or withdraw. To me this is like getting a present for X-mas and then not wanting to open it until more than a year later. I mean.... why????:unsure::unsure:
