I moved from ignition to BOL about 2 months ago and I couldn't be happier. I agree that the fees are kind of excessive, but the player field is really bad at small stakes tournaments and not being anonymous is a big benefit for people who pay attention and take notes. The software is good and I haven't had any issues and I've never seen the site crash. I read Chris Moshman's SNG Strategy book and started grinding SNGs and was ITM about 45%. Since then, I've been studying MTTs and have had good results. I've been making deep runs daily. I won 2, 2 days in a row and have been getting to the final table or close (10/11th) basically everyday ($11 buy in our less). Not as easy in the $22+ tourneys so far. I've been having the best results in the smaller field tournaments, 150-200 entrants, but I managed 10th out of 914 and another couple deep runs in the larger fields as well. This has been in the last week and a half. It took a month or more to double from my original $40 playing SNGs and now I'm up to $375 in the last couple weeks. At first I thought I must be on a heater, but after final tableing almost daily, playing at most 3 tournaments a day and sometimes making deep runs in multiple tournaments, I've realized the players are just terrible. They have a wide variety of tournaments to choose from with good guarantees, lots with re-entry, and I've seen some of the most awful players firing upwards of 7 or 8 bullets and just dump their chips. I watched the last 2 tables of a $55 buy in and there were multiple people on 3-5 bullets and saw a guy rebuy (3rd bullet) for 5 BBs at the end of late reg. I'm not sure what some of the players on this site are thinking, but it sure is profitable. Overall the site is great. Rake isn't great, but the soft games more than make up for it. They just added a Bonus SNG and cash game leader board feature that pays "tournament money" or tickets to the top 10 grinders. It's split up into different buy ins, so a separate leader board for $15 or $7 SNG, etc., with greater rewards for higher buy ins. They seem to be adding features like that and adding more tournaments all the time. The developers are definitely trying to make improvements. I would recommend the site, but always remember, any unregulated poker site operating within the US could go down at anytime and keep all the players funds. It's happened before and will happen again, so if you have a big score, I would recommend cashing out immediately.
