I'm still not sure how I feel about this whole thing.
My first reaction was that its terrible, and horrible for poker. But then, assuming it was just heads up where any collusion happened, I'm not sure anymore. Neither cheated each other out of any thing, and the only thing wsop has jurisdiction over os their tournament. I think I would have probably done the same, its a huge amount of money, and they didn't create this mess, the WPT and WSOP did by setting the promo and by allowing it on their events! Its clear this could easily occur!
That said, I think, as they have been seen as doing it reasonably obviously the WSOP do have to make a stand here. I don't see that they can withold the money, and this has not happened, but not issuing a bracelet for this event is fair.
If the report of them being banned for life is true, then its kind of justified, but I would imagine they could sue, and quite possibly win, as can WSOP actually prove they colluded, I'm not so sure!
