Great to see Sam Grafton take it down. I have watched him for several years play the EPT, always a character and fun player keeping tables bubbling along - he literally worked his way from low stakes to dipping his toes into high rollers over the last couple of years. Grafton has now cashed three times in Triton events with his winnings leaping to $7,340,000.

Meanwhile another $25K played out off camera. the  Pot Limit Omaha tourney won by a Cypriot, Christopher Philippou.

Then as detailed already, the $100K main event played through its first day with philanthropist Jean Noel Thorel the present chip leader.
