Actually this is a further reason, I now think, its more likely, she just misread her hand and did not want to admit it. There is most likely a cultural element here, because for people from that part of the world (even if she grew up in the USA), honour and keeping face is much more important, than it is for people from most western countries. Lets say it was Jennifer Tilly, who misread her hand on a highstakes stream and made a huge call, she did not intend to make. Then I am sure, she would say something like "OMG I thought, I had a 3!!!", and then everyone would just laught about it. But for someone with a middle eastern background I can totally see them react to the situation the way, that Robbi did, to basically protect their honour. I dont think, she intended for the whole thing to blow up, like it did. But thats largely Garretts fault, since he publicly accused her of cheating. And if she did in fact just misread her hand, she is kind of freerolling here, since it can then obviously not be proven, that she cheated, And there is no rule in poker, which say, that you need to explain to other people, why you made a certain play, or be truthfull about it. And as for how, she could possibly not know her cards after checking them, its possible, she just wanted to check the suit of her J. She did make a comment to Garrett about that. And even though she got it wrong (she had a bad blocker not a good one), its entirely plausible, that someone, who just began studying poker seriously, could make this mistake. Its also in line with her statement during a break in the stream, that she had "the J of clubs and the 3 of whatever". Because she thought, her other card was a 3, and she did not care about the suit of the 3, because it did not matter. She also had J3 in the previous hand making it further likely, this kind of mistake could happen.
