⚠ Warning to all European players who are about to withdraw from Poker Stars! ⚠ Hi guys, if you're from Europe, you have e-wallet in $ currency and going to deposit/withdraw $ to/from Poker Stars, you gotta be careful and look if it says really USD at your Depositing/Withdrawing Window! Because if it says EUR instead, you will loose money, as it stupidly happened to me, when I negligently withdrawn $100 from my PS account to Skrill. :banghead: It's hard to believe in that bullshit, but in a fact they converted my $100 to € and then converted it back to $ again and only then transferred to my Skrill account. And I paid $6,72 for that. Basically for nothing. Only because in withdrawing options at Poker Stars stood EUR instead of USD! :stupid: Of course next thing I did was contacting PS Support and asked what the hell is going on, why do they made that senseless conversion, causing me that extra fee. First answer was, roughly speaking: "Well, too bad, you are from Europe and in Europe main currency €, that's why it been conversed." I couldn't believe what I've read and thought at that moment, Poker Stars went totally nuts from now on and I have to pay now fees for every withdraw I make. Well I decided to wait up with my withdraw for better times with a hope something will change about their unfair politics. Last week I contacted them once again. After few days of correspondence they finally told me, that I could actually change this to USD again. (Before it was EUR only in options.) For changing currency I only needed to make a new deposit with USD chosen. And that's it. I did it and finally can withdrawing without fees again!:deal: Don't repeat my mistakes! p.s. I still can't figure out why is that after so many years of withdrawing $ from Poker Stars it been suddenly changed to €. :hmmmm: p.p.s. I hate that first guy from PS Support who basically lied to me. So I'll always ask twice and two different people in the future.
