poker sites are there to make money, If they can not make money off of you then they probaly will not pay out! Sometimes places like ACR have freerolls where you can make hundreds if not thousands of dollars, especially with special knockouts and such. To me it is a scam. If you sign up and they accept you as a player, then accept your money, then they do not want to pay out to you then they are a scam. ACR is a great example, I have deposited nearly 2 thousand dollars over 3 years. I contacted them because I hear you have to have a "verified account" before they will process a payout to you. #1 why do they accept my money before they verify my acount? #2 why are they ignoring all my emails now that I sent them all thier required info to verify my account? If you look up most reviews, this is a major issue with the site I mentioned. Phil Nagy and his good for poker phrase is a major problem. I still play there because I love poker, I just keep my deposits small and basically play it as a hobby. I alrerady know if I get lucky and hit a big prize I will never see my money. Watch the ACR stormers on twitch. they always win big prizes, then ask others about their life changing cashouts. just saying.

intertops no longer operates for UK players, but I remember some years ago when they were on Microgaming there were play through requirements attached to freeroll winnings while other Microgaming sites didn't operate this way.

Cake poker was another one that stung me with this. I had about 20 bucks in there from freerolls and same thing happened. Went to a cash table and blew about 5 bucks because I was feeling tilted. Quit for a few months then when I next tried to log in found my account was closed. When I made enquiries they said my account had been subjected to a charge for inactivity and then closed when the balance went to zero.

A big problem is that these sites hide behind pages of terms and conditions and it's easy for them to move the goalposts. A lot of the time you get a message about updated terms and conditions and are either asked to accept the new terms or sometimes they just say by continuing to play you are deemed to have accepted them. I'm guessing most people wont bother to read the terms because you would be there all day.

I wouldn't make a deposit to a site unless I knew I could trust them now. At least with freeroll winnings you will know fairly quickly if you can withdraw them and if you can't you've only wasted time.

From my experience, certain (if not all, double-check) operators require you to rake a certain % in order to be able to withdraw, especially for freeroll winnings.

I only play sites where there are no requirements. Having play through requirements is nonsense. You will lose before you clear the balance. I've taken winnings from Pokerstars, Party poker, Coral, Ladbrokes. You have to deposit first so winnings are paid back to whatever method you used to deposit. I read the T&C's on sites before I play, I was stung before on Cake Poker where they wanted me to play through and then when I didn't play for a while they took my balance for "inactivity"

I learned thus the hard way also, read the T&C always nowadays if i enter a new site

Hello! I come to bring a doubt! I hope someone who has already gone through this takes my doubts and certainly others in this topic!
We know that many or all poker rooms do not allow you to withdraw the profit from the freeroll after "meeting requirements" .. and it seems to me a very difficult mission to withdraw $ 50 in freeroll earnings for a microstake player..! am I right?

Example:
If i made today a $ 30 deposit and tomorrow won $50 profit in a freerolls, after that i enter a $ 10 buy in tournament..

1)" what money" am I using for this tournament, my deposit money or the money earned on free?
2) Could still redeem my $30 and get the remaining $40? or only could withdraw $20 and the $50 freeroll would be blocked for withdrawal yet?

Help me understand this! Thank you very much for your attention! [emoji120][emoji106]

Basically, on all poker rooms, after you have made a deposit to withdraw funds, you have to beat this money (the conditions in different rooms are different, basically, you must put the entire amount ($ 30) into the game for cash or make a bet on sports, not necessarily one can be split) , and it has nothing to do with your winnings in the freeroll (there is an exception to Intertops room, if in this room you find yourself in 9 circles of hell, and you are unlikely to see your money). In your case, you will not be able to withdraw a cent until you beat the deposit.

Stick to the big poker sites, ie party poker, poker stars etc... I hear horror stories about all those off the grid sites and many people have lost money and unable to to take out their winning.
Good luck at whatever site you choose, just do a quick google check and read the reviews before you send some money

I have never had this problem and I have cashed out from 2 sites, all winnings bar a few cents, one site had stopped running poker games and transferred my cash to a new Sports betting site they had, when I explained that I am not interested in gambling on anything I am not in control of they gave me my complete balance. ($147.27)

The other site had changed their software so much I didn't like the way things were, and received my total Dollar balance leaving 45 cents in my account, just in case I changed my mind in the future and wanted to return. (their words) but my balance there was $158.45.
I had never made a deposit on both sites, and all the money was from Free-rolls and Micro stake games.

My pokerstars account is well over $400 and I am not interested in making a withdrawal, as my attitude towards it is, What you never had, you never miss, Even if I made $1,000 or $10,000, to me this is virtual money not worth a thing and I would be buying into bigger stake games. That is really what drives my passion for Poker not how much I can make , but how big my bankroll is, so I can improve the standard of play and compete with the big boys.(lol).

When the fun Stops, STOP!
