I seen this it’s very unfortunate. They are using the premise of problem gamblers to ban all gaming Apps in India not just poker.
I am worried this will happen in the UK soon as lots is going on politically behind the scenes of the UK gambling industry.
This is the reason I am so against the idea of “gambling addiction”.
In essence because some people are absolutely useless at something then myself and millions of others must also be stopped from partaking to protect the empty heads who empty their bank accounts into rainbow riches.

But should others, who don't have a problem suffer because of others that do? If this were the case, then ALL alcohol sales in the U.S.A. must be stopped immediately because there are many alcoholics... which is a disease that takes their lives!
I don't think we need our governments to take responsibility for us when it comes to gambling... & ESPECIALLY when it comes to playing POKER.

I don’t really understand that either. What’s the point of condemning gambling while at the same time allowing smoking and drinking alcohol? It seems like an age-old problem with narcissistic politicians who only see things from their own tunnel-vision perspective. Still, I don’t think it’s entirely bad if gambling is banned for particularly vulnerable players. But it doesn’t solve the real problem, because people will just switch to other things like sports betting and so on.
