I don't think it will affect poker that much. Solvers have been a thing for a while now, and no GeminiAI can play poker better than PIO, similar to how ChatGPT isn't and most likely won't be capable of outplaying stockfish in chess.

Speaking of assisting, honestly, from my experience of trying to explain hands to ChatGPT, it is pretty bad at understanding the game as of now. It confuses positions, doubles cards, misses hands etc. It may be somewhat good at responding to some generalized strategy questions, but for learning specific spots for now it is quite useless.

Though I've noticed that GTOW uses AI for postflop ICM spots, but I hardly doubt that they do that with AI in its current general meaning, aka LLMs. But also worth noting.

I don't think artificial intelligence will have a significant impact on the future of poker. Yes, you can always analyze your game with artificial intelligence and it really can help you. I think that various programs using artificial intelligence will be strictly banned in all online poker rooms. At least, that's what I'd like.
