On days when I'm feeling tired, I pick up an audiobook that's about 8 to 10 hours long.
And I spend the entire game listening to it, and I end up not noticing the time passing; before I know it, we're already at the first break.
Then comes the second, and here in the tournaments I play, in the third stage, a return indicates that we're close to the money.
And right after the bubble bursts, about an hour later, we reach the semifinals.
So, knowing these checkpoints, I program my mind to use the audiobook as a focus tool...
