Watcher the final table highlights like one year later and cant really see how that laptop should have helped him. In the final hand he opens 83 on the button which is simply a fold and i highly doubt laptop would say otherwise.

Should it be allowed? No but he didnt gain a real edge imo.

Live poker should not be a team sport (unless agreed on beforehand).

And as I have stated before: if we allow any digital/electronic assistance at the tables it would kill live poker just as it has with online (almost since under 100NL has some traffic).

WSOP said no RTA and that can be a question of semantics. But set up the rules and enforce the rules. Legally you should be able to not allow certain behaviors in a private Casino/Club/Event.

Make them sign some agreement beforehand if people are worried about personal integrity and or arbitrary enforcement.
I agree. There needs to be a formal, detailed agreement to serve as a basis for the rules.
When the player buys in, they agree to all these rules.
If the game is individual, it should be that way from start to finish.
And always be fair to everyone, without making things easier for player X or Y, whether they're famous or not.
I think even the use of cell phones at the tables should be avoided, as we have so many technological tools that for someone to take advantage of one or create one... it wouldn't be complicated... and it would already give them an advantage in the game.
