I often get confused when holding small pocket pairs like 3s or 5s. Should I call, raise, or fold if there’s already a raise before me? What do you guys usually do?

Apart from position, a lot of it boils back to what your effective stack is and what the profile of the RFI player before you is. If they're someone who goes all in with J2o and you have a safe stack, why not? Now, if you know aggressive players will speak after you and make you fold, it may be better to fold straight and wait for a better position

So I almost always go out with low hands unless there could be a road, e.g. 4 and 5 or 6 and 8 but if the first cards aren't promising, I'll go out

Usually with small pairs, I prefer to call in position to try and hit a set cheaply. Out of position, it’s often better to fold if there’s a lot of action.
