I'll be honest with you.

I'm temporarily upset with poker. There's even a name for it that I can't remember right now. It's when you're dedicating yourself to something and the results don't live up to your expectations, and this ends up generating frustration. A lot of frustration.

I was reading some forums here because I know I'm not the only one who has experienced this. It happens to me, it happens to everyone, and it will continue to happen.

I started the month with my goals: to study and play, study and play, study and play, and that's what I've been doing. But I faced a series of bad beats that managed to rob me of my peace of mind, making me question my entire career, and even making me lose the will to play. It also caused me some financial losses.

As a longtime player, I truly UNDERSTAND that 7 days of poker in a sample of 100 tournaments is nothing and doesn't define who I am. But this is a completely logical and rational thought, something I can't quite grasp at the moment. I sincerely hope to reverse this situation and enjoy poker again.

I'll continue playing and studying as planned. I might even take a day or two off, but I'll keep studying. I started studying mindset because I understand that what's happening is mental, not technical, but even though it's mental, it's affecting my technical side.

Sorry for writing a long post about this, but I've heard that being in a community and expressing your weaknesses can help you overcome a bad patch like this. Especially a poker community where everyone is subject to periods of loss.

I'd love to hear what you do when you're in a similar situation. I appreciate those who read and took the time to teach me something in advance. Thank you very much.

Everyone needs a break from time to time. If these are your stats, and you are playing for an average of a little over a dollar, if not like, this is a way of earning a living. So just do something else, until you feel like playing again. Dont force yourself to study or play x hours or x games per day, if you are not in the mood.

As compared to my year overall...
In the long run poker doesnt lie...
It's just a matter to put the mind in the right place/mood to play
