First of all, all Ukrainians always play only for the result. There are no Ukrainians who play in poker for fun. The result always comes first. Most Ukrainians are tight, but they don't like giving up their blinds. Therefore, when you steal blinds, be prepared that the Ukrainian will counterattack.

For a long time, he was one of the top tournament players in the world, with over $9 million in live winnings.
He won a wsop bracelet, a WPT title, and even got named bluff Magazine’s Player of the Year back in 2011.
But lately, he kind of disappeared from the poker radar. I haven't seen him in major events recently.
Last I heard, he moved out of Kyiv during the war, spent some time in Europe, and was involved in esports and charity work.
Would be cool to see him back at the tables someday.
