Here in my country (brazil) playing poker is not illegal, but also is not regulated. Recently they regulated sports bets here, but not poker. We can deposit and receive money from poker rooms to our bank accounts without problems. Of course we need to pay taxes if win some decent amount of money (around 27.5%).

Some rooms have stopped providing access to local users.Most poker rooms do not accept users from Latvia, so local poker players need to look for rooms where they can register and play without any problems.

Under Japanese law, operating gambling illegally or participating in illegally operated gambling is prohibited. Also, although they are not casinos, there are privately run gambling operations that exist in a legal gray area.
