ChatGPT lost to an Atari chess engine...

If people are going to cheat they are going to cheat. The tool they use is somewhat irrelevant.

I'm more worried about GTOWizard or a solver being open on another computer the cheater is using than someone asking ChatGPT how to play a hand or a flop.

Also the more resources the site you play on puts into security the better technology they are going to have to detect and fight against bots or AI programs.

But I mean it lost a chess game to an Atari, do you really even want to take it's advice on a game infinitely more advanced?

How do you see artificial intelligence not poker? Do you see it as a threat or an opportunity. I particularly see it as a threat, as sites can further exploit this resource to place artificial players with capabilities, greater than ours, with high-level plays, without suffering the sentimental damage that we feel at the tables during the plays, where we are forced to do so. to give up our hands.
There is no need to fear scientific and technological progress. As history shows, development and technology improve people's lives. Besides, those who know how to make money playing poker today will be able to make money tomorrow.
