Casino.us - what is it?

Cardschat is partnering wth casino.us, so I thought I'd take a look at it. I'm not a regular casino visitor/player so I wasn't exactly sure what I was looking at right away. I then came to realize that it's mostly a US online casino referral site. I understand they also have variations of the site for different countries, but I didn't look at these. I recall poker referral sites from years ago but haven't been to one in a long time. I guess Cardschat is sort of one, but that's an aspect of it that I never use.

From a real money/gambling perspective I see a lot of links to ten online US casinos with bonuses. It seems like you would use this site once to get a bonus offer at one of the ten casinos and then not really have a reason to return to the site until you want a bonus at one of the other casinos.

They have a few sections providing glossaries and rules for roulette, blackjack, slots, lotteries and keno which could be very helpful to beginners like me, and may actually be the best part of the site!

Or, from purely a play money perspective they seem to offer a wealth of free online casino games. This would provide a way to try games without having to register at a particular casino first. Again, I'm not a big casino player, but I would guess most people would want to make the jump pretty quickly thereafter to real money, hence using one of the offered bonuses to sign up at one of the ten casinos.

That's just my impression as a first time visitor. Has anybody used the site? If so, how did you use it?

Well only looked at the free games so far... but I see they have Blackjack, Roulette, Paigow, baccarat, Keno.....😏👍

I rarely played at casinos because I am sceptical about gambling of this kind. I understand that winning in freerolls, for example, is entirely possible, and most importantly, it can be done without risking your own money. I have serious doubts about whether it is possible to win any money in 90% of the world's casinos without investing your own money.

For what it's worth, there definitely are some. I'm not that knowledgeable about casinos, so I can't say what percentage allow it.

We'll definitely be utilizing those strategy pages and free games for lots of great content and more, so stay tuned!

In my journey to discover more about Casino.us I decided to try some of their free games. I noticed something on the main menu of games. The ones with a big rectangular icon (not the ones with a smaller square) will reveal some interesting info when you hover your mouse over them. Two really important things are RTP (Return to Player) and volatility. I don't know how accurate these are, or exactly where the data comes from, but they seem to be pretty important to any hardcore gamer.

I know our local online casino stopped allowing automatic play (for obvious reasons I think), but the free games at casino.us do allow you to set the game to keep spinning automatically up to 1,000 times. This is quite handy to allow the hardcore player to do something else (e.g., play poker, go to work, take a nap) while the game burns through their cash. I'm using this feature right now as I write this.



And if that doesn't satisfy your need for speed, they also have a turbo feature which gives you the fastest game speed possible (seems to be 2X to 2.5X).

Absolutely! I expect it may mean more to those interested in playing casino games and chatting about it. There hasn't been a lot of activity on that front here in the past. Cardschat is running some promotions to draw attention to the topic area. I was wondering if they might also have some sort of hosted casino games, but haven't seen anything along those lines yet. That would really give it a boost, but that would be a major endeavour.

Will it all take root? Time will tell.
