Two more thoughts on this situation: 1) One of the main advantages of cash games is, that you decide 100%, when you want to play, and who you want to play against. So if a maniac annoy you, then its fine to just leave the table, even though you should be able to beat this kind of player. Playing on tilt can lead to much bigger mistakes than just playing to many hands preflop. 2) Just because someone play far to many hands preflop, does not mean, they are clueless about postflop, especially not if it happen at anything above 2-5NL. Clearly its someone, who play for fun, but they might have played longer than you, and because they play so many hands, they get a lot of experience postflop. So maybe they are actually quite good at understanding their situation postflop and understanding how to exploit their loose image. [/QUOTE]
