I play a lot and dont keep track of, what the latest or worst bad beat was. But if I have to pick one, then I still remember a hand from a 16NL cash game many years ago, that went like this: Villain limp, I isolate to 4BB, Villain min-click 3-bet to 7BB, I call. My cards are :ah4::7h4:, and flop comes :7d4::7c4::js4:, so obviously very good flop for me. Villain check, I bet, Villain check-raise, I jam, and he call it off for around 100BB. He flip over :as4::ad4:, turn and river were :4c4::ac4:. This hand stood out to me, because the Villain played it so poorly on both streets and still managed to get bailed out by hitting a 1-outer. As for your hand I mostly play tournaments these days, and I dont even consider preflop all-in situations to be bad beats, unless its a completely dominated situation like :ks4::kd4: against :kh4::js4: or similar. It seems like, you focus on the fact, :qs4: came on the river, but this does not matter, when the money went in preflop. In that situation there is no flop, turn or river but just 5 cards dealt all at the same time. Or at least thats the best way to see the situation from a mental point of view.
