All 36 possibilities of two dice rolls: 1,1 - 1,2 - 1,3 - 1,4 - 1,5 - 1,6 - 2,1 - 2,2 - 2,3 - 2,4 - 2,5 - 2,6 - 3,1 - 3,2 - 3,3 - 3,4 - 3,5 - 3,6 - 4,1 - 4,2 - 4,3 - 4,4 - 4,5 - 4,6 - 5,1 - 5,2 - 5,3 - 5,4 - 5,5 - 5,6 - 6,1 - 6,2 - 6,3 - 6,4 - 6,5 - 6,6 So you see, the 36th possibilty we have is two sixes, ie. a 1/36 chance.
