I've been playing online for quite a while and recently started playing offline at a casino. What I've noticed online is that players tend to raise aggressively or go all-in only when they have the nuts, so I’ve been adjusting my play accordingly. However, when I went to the casino yesterday, I saw that players were getting aggressive with just a single or double pair, with some even going all-in. I was able to win some of those hands.

With that in mind, I started to adjust my strategy. When another player went super aggressive, I raised back with a hand of A, A, A, K, 10, 9. But then I found out that the same player had a full house. This happened three times in one night, and I lost everything.

Now, I’m left with doubts about my good hands. I’m hesitant and unsure, folding good hands when players bet aggressively because I’m worried they might have the nuts. Do you think I played wrong, or is this something I’ll improve with experience?

Your study point is board reading---players do bluff and over value hands but they also bet the nuts- You want to bluff catch on boards that the V has fewer nut hands and has just Top pair more often. It takes time and practice but start looking at the board makeup more and use that to guide your decisions.
As well when other live players notice your play they will adapt their play expecting you to call more often.
