Do you ever 3-bet light as a bluff, or do you prefer to only 3-bet with strong hands?

I’ll 3-bet light sometimes, but only if the spot makes sense. If the opener is raising too much and likely to fold, I’ll mix it in. At lower stakes though, most of my 3-bets are for value because players hate folding.

I hesitate when it comes to 3-bet, so when I do, I play with strong hands. Wish I could be a bit more flexible, such as with light 3-bet though.

I mix in some light 3-bets, but it really depends on the table dynamics and opponent tendencies. Against tighter players I usually stick to strong hands, but vs frequent openers I’ll 3-bet light to apply pressure.

Hey LiviuRo123,
I recommend 3-betting light with medium-strength hands (like suited connectors or suited aces)... yes they not premium, but have good post-flop potential or blocker effects. This advanced strategy is used to balance your 3-betting range, exploit opponents who open too wide and fold too often to raises, and apply pressure, making it harder for them to play against you. Key factors for success include having position, facing only one opponent, and understanding your opponent's tendencies.

Good luck,
Natox
